I think we have all seen the phishing sites that try to fool you into thinking your PC is broken and end up taking your money or taking over your machine. Bringing up old flames usually creates new ones. Also, bringing up old “flames,” as in old animosities which have since been resolved, will result in strict action against the member. The interpretation of whether an attack has occurred is entirely up to the moderators, so if you are not completely sure that you can express your opinion without it sounding like an attack, you’re best off just not doing it at all.
